The Details
Preserving Your Glasses
STEP 1: Let your glasses dry for 24 hours.
STEP 2: Bake on the paint.
-
Place the glasses on a cookie sheet in a COLD oven.
-
Turn the oven on to 325 degrees (with the glasses already inside).
-
After 30 minutes, turn the oven off but leave the glasses in until they are cool to the touch. (this may take a few hours). Tip: You can crack the oven open to speed up the process.
-
Remove your glasses from the oven.
STEP 3: Sealing With The Gloss Finish
-
Use your flat brush to apply a thin layer of sealant over ONLY the painted part of your glass. Note: It will go on with a milky coat but will dry clear.
-
Let them dry for 3 days (I know, you must be patient)
STEP 4: Washing Your Glasses
We always recommend HAND WASHING. If you place them in the dishwasher, over time, the paint may crack.
STEP 5: Have A Drink!
